forecast.

* WHERE...Village Creek near Kountze.

* WHEN...Until Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 22.0 feet, Water covers entire floor of Farm to Market
Road 418. Water threatens homes near the creek in Kountze.
Significant flooding occurs in Village Creek State Park.

- At 10:30 AM CDT Friday the stage was 22.3 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 10:30 AM CDT Friday was 22.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late
tomorrow evening and continue falling to 5.3 feet Wednesday
morning.
- Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 22.4
feet on 04/06/1999.
