Northwestern McClain County in central Oklahoma... Oklahoma County in central Oklahoma... * WHEN...Until 730 PM CDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS...Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Expect many areas of slow moving or standing water. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems in urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 1252 PM CDT, broadcast media reported extensive flooding in the Oklahoma City metro due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. Between 3 and 6 inches of rain have fallen. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected for the next few hours. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
