* Flash Flood Warning for...
The Granite Creek basin in...
Yavapai County in west central Arizona...

* Until 400 PM MST.

* At 100 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain over the Granite Creek basin. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of
rain has fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are
possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected
to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding in and around the Granite Creek basin.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of areas in and around the
Granite Creek basin.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Downtown Prescott and Whipple.

This includes State Route 89 between mile markers 308 and 311...and
between mile markers 314 and 315.

This includes the following recreation areas and campgrounds...
White Spar Campground and AC Williams Granite Creek Park.

This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers...
Butte Creek, Bannon Creek, Willow Creek, Granite Creek and Miller
