Allegany County in western New York... * Until 915 PM EDT. * At 755 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Letchworth State Park to near Ashford Hollow to Chautauqua Institution, moving south at 35 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect considerable tree damage. Wind damage is also likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings. * Locations impacted include... Jamestown, Olean, Salamanca, Dansville, Wellsville, Allegany State Park, Letchworth State Park, Alfred, Lakewood, and Falconer. This includes the following highways...
