* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring.

* WHERE...Salt Creek at North 27th Street.

* WHEN...Until Friday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 23.0 feet, Lower areas between Capitol Beach and
Interstate 80 flood, this includes commerical areas west of Sun
Valley Boulevard and north of West O Street. Capitol Beach itself
may see flooding along the east side closer to the railroad tracks.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1:25 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 22.5 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 20.5 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 1:25 PM CDT Thursday was 25.9 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late
this afternoon and continue falling to 3.8 feet early Tuesday
afternoon.
- Flood stage is 20.5 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 22.7
feet on 09/08/1989.
