This approaches the flood of record. * WHERE...Animas River near Cedar Hill. * WHEN...Until Tuesday evening. * IMPACTS...At 11.5 feet, The river would be near an all time high. Areas along the river that never before experienced flooding will likely be inundated as water levels continue to rise. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:00 AM MST Monday the stage was -1310.7 feet. - Bankfull stage is 9.5 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise.
