.Heavy rain of 5 to 10 inches across portions of west central Florida
caused several rivers across the region to remain in flood stage over
the next few days.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Manatee River near Myakka Head at SR 64.

* WHEN...Until Wednesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 11.0 feet, Private road and bridge 1 mile downstream
flood. Agricultural, rural Kibler area begins to flood.

- At 2:15 PM EST Tuesday the stage was 12.7 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 2:15 PM EST Tuesday was 12.8 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage late
tomorrow morning and continue falling to 6.8 feet early Friday
afternoon.
