* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Northern Dona Ana County in south central New Mexico...

* WHEN...Until 600 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of arroyos, and other low-lying and flood-prone
locations is imminent or occurring. Arroyos continue to rise due to
excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Low-water crossings are
inundated with water and may not be passable. Expect many areas of
slow moving or standing water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 239 PM MDT, Bands of moderate to heavy rainfall continue to
lash northern Dona Ana County. Expect flooding on nearly all
arroyos and low water crossings in the area.
- Flooding may cut off hiking trails in backcountry areas around
the Robledo and Dona Ana Mountains, including behind Broad Canyon
Dam and around Prehistoric Trackways National Monument.

Hatch, Leasburg, Rincon, Northrup Landing, Radium Springs, Dona
Ana, Salem, Garfield, East Mesa, Portions of Jornada Experimental
Range, Uvas Valley, Hill and Northeast Las Cruces.
