Lake Ontario from Hamlin Beach to Mexico Bay ... * Until 815 PM EDT. * At 620 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts was located 11 nm north of Hamlin Beach, moving east at 40 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts to 40 knots, and large hail. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Large hail could result in structural damage. * Locations impacted include...
