* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...A portion of Utah, including the following areas, Central Mountains, Eastern Juab/Millard Counties, Sanpete Valley, Sevier Valley, Wasatch Plateau/Book Cliffs, Western Uinta Basin, Bryce Canyon Country, South Central Utah, Southern Mountains, Upper Sevier River Valleys, Southwest Utah and Zion National Park. This watch also includes recent burn scars such as Cottonwood, Widemouth 2, Forsyth, France Canyon, Monroe Canyon, and Black Canyon. * WHEN...From Sunday morning through Sunday evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, dry washes, slot canyons, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations such as slickrock areas and recent burn scars. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Excessive rainfall is expected Sunday afternoon associated with the arrival of deep tropical moisture across much of central and southern Utah.
