in Gurnee, including the Russell gauge.

* WHEN...Until Wednesday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 7.0 feet, Low-lying wetlands and agricultural land is
inundated near the river.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 7:30 PM CDT Monday the stage was 7.2 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 7:30 PM CDT Monday was 7.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
Wednesday morning and continue falling through the rest of the
week.
- Flood stage is 7.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 7.2
feet on 09/20/1980.
