Northwestern Cleveland County in the Piedmont of North Carolina... Southern Burke County in western North Carolina... * Until 245 PM EDT. * At 157 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 11 miles southeast of Morganton to 17 miles northeast of Forest City to 9 miles southwest of Marion, moving southeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected.
