The National Weather Service in Newport has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
Central Hyde County in eastern North Carolina...

* Until 700 PM EDT.

* At 607 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Swan Quarter Ferry Terminal to near Gull Rock,
moving east at 15 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
Gull Rock, New Holland, and Swan Quarter Ferry Terminal.
