FFWABQ The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a * Flash Flood Warning for... Western Socorro County in central New Mexico... Northeastern Catron County in west central New Mexico... * Until 1045 PM MDT Tuesday. * At 444 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the warned area where soils are already saturated due to earlier rainfall. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area through 6 PM MDT. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Datil and Pietown.
