The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
South Central Kane County in southern Utah...

* Until 315 AM MDT Tuesday.

* At 723 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain in Lick Wash, with flows expected to move downstream
into Buckskin Gulch. Between 0.75 and 1 inch of rain has fallen.
Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the
warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding in Lick Wash downstream
into Buckskin Gulch. Heavy rain producing flash flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
normally dry washes, and slickrock areas.
