FFWOKX The National Weather Service in Upton has extended the * Flash Flood Warning for... South Central Bergen County in northeastern New Jersey... Essex County in northeastern New Jersey... Hudson County in northeastern New Jersey... Eastern Passaic County in northeastern New Jersey... * Until 100 PM EDT. * At 1103 AM EDT, local law enforcement reported heavy rain across the warned area. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 0.5 to 1 inch in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Law enforcement reported. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
