Gila River Near Gila River near Solomon affecting Graham County.

For the Upper Gila...including Gila River at Calva, Gila River at
Duncan, Gila River near Solomon, Gila River At Kelvin, San Carlos
Reservoir at Coolidge Dam...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Gila River near Gila River near Solomon.

* WHEN...From late tonight to Wednesday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 22.5 feet, Bridges in Safford Valley closed and
extensive agricultural flooding. Homes and structures closest to
the river threatened.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 9:30 AM MST Tuesday the stage was 8.2 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 19.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise to 14.9 feet this evening. It will
then rise above flood stage just after midnight tonight to 22.5
feet late tonight. It will fall below flood stage late tomorrow
morning.
- Flood stage is 21.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 20.8
feet on 10/02/1983.
