* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring. * WHERE...Southeastern Lincoln County in central New Mexico... Central Chaves County in southeastern New Mexico... * WHEN...Until 345 PM MDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 950 AM MDT, New Mexico DOT reported NM Highway 246 is inundated with water and is impassable between mile marker 9 and 73. Flooding is already occurring. - Heavy rainfall that occurred over the past 24 hours will lead to inundation of low water crossings in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
