At 125 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Mazeppa to 6 miles southwest of Rochester to near Rose Creek, moving east at 50 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Automated weather observations. At 120 AM CDT, a 62 mph wind gust was observed in Byron. IMPACT...Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees. These severe storms will be near... Rochester, Stewartville, and Grand Meadow around 130 AM CDT. Eyota and Elgin around 140 AM CDT. Plainview, Spring Valley, and Dover around 145 AM CDT. St. Charles and Chatfield around 150 AM CDT. Wykoff around 155 AM CDT. Fountain around 200 AM CDT. Other locations impacted by these severe thunderstorms include South Troy, County Roads 9 And 10, Potsdam, Fillmore, County Roads 6 And 15, Hidden Meadows R V Park, and Mayville. This includes Interstate 90 in Minnesota between mile markers 175 and 232.
