forecast.

* WHERE...Canadian River at Amarillo 19N.

* WHEN...Until late Friday night.

* IMPACTS...At 10.0 feet, Portions of Rosita Creek Flats Recreational
Area floods. Primitive campers and recreational vehicles are in
imminent danger. Dirt roads that lead to highway 287 from Rosita
Creek Flats are impassable.

- At 3:30 AM CDT Wednesday the stage was 8.3 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 3:30 AM CDT Wednesday was 8.3 feet.
- Forecast...The river will rise to 10.0 feet this afternoon. It
will then fall tomorrow morning. It will rise to 8.4 feet early
Friday morning. It will then fall below flood stage early Friday
