SMWMOB The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a * Special Marine Warning for... Coastal waters from Pensacola FL to Pascagoula MS out 20 NM... Waters from Pensacola FL to Pascagoula MS from 20 to 60 NM... * Until 1030 AM CDT. * At 859 AM CDT, strong thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts were located along a line extending from 9 nm west of Oriskany Reef to 37 nm south of Perdido Pass to 41 nm south of Farewell Buoy. The strong thunderstorms were nearly stationary. HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Strong thunderstorms will remain over mainly open waters.
