The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
Southeastern Lincoln County in central New Mexico...

* Until 1115 PM MDT.

* At 524 PM MDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding in
eastern Lincoln county. Roads are becoming covered in water,
including Alamo Canyon Road which is closed and impassable. Up to
1.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to
1.5 inches are possible in the warned area.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Tinnie, Hondo and Sunset.

This includes Highways 70 and 380 near and east of San Patricio, or
mile marker 280 through 310.
