FFWLCH The National Weather Service in Lake Charles has issued a * Flash Flood Warning for... Central Hardin County in southeastern Texas... South Central Tyler County in southeastern Texas... * Until 1045 AM CDT. * At 546 AM CDT, emergency management reported thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 10 and 21 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 5 inches in 1 hour. Flash flooding is already occurring. FLASH FLOOD EMERGENCY for Kountze, Village Mills, Honey Island. This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER GROUND NOW! HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Emergency management reported. IMPACT...This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. SEEK HIGHER GROUND NOW! Life threatening flash flooding of low water crossings, small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Lumberton, Kountze, Wildwood, Saratoga, Warren, Honey Island, Village Mills and Batson. Down stream locations such as Village Creek State Park and low areas between Silsbee and Lumberton.
