* WHAT...Flash flooding and debris flows caused by excessive rainfall continue to be possible over the Willow burn scar. * WHERE...A portion of central Colorado, including the following areas, Eastern Sawatch Mountains Above 11000 Feet, Central Lake County Below 11000 Feet and Western Chaffee County Between 9000 and 11000 Feet. * WHEN...From noon MDT today through this evening. * IMPACTS...Heavy rainfall over the Willow burn scar will be possible up to and during the period of the watch. Residents near the Willow burn scar should prepare for potential debris flow. Be sure to stay up to date with information from local authorities. Heavy rainfall could trigger flash flooding of low-lying areas, and debris flows in and near recent wildfire burn scars. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - National Weather Service Meteorologists are forecasting heavy rainfall over the burn scar, which may lead to flash flooding and debris flows. - Some locations that may experience flash flooding include...
