* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of south central and southwest New Mexico,
including the following areas, in south central New Mexico, East
Central Tularosa Basin/Alamogordo, East Slopes Sacramento Mountains
Below 7500 Feet, Northern Dona Ana County, Otero Mesa, Sacramento
Mountains Above 7500 Feet, Sierra County Lakes, Southeast Tularosa
Basin, Southern Dona Ana County/Mesilla Valley, West Central
Tularosa Basin/White Sands and West Slopes Sacramento Mountains
Below 7500 Feet. In southwest New Mexico, Eastern Black Range
Foothills.

* WHEN...Through this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Low-water crossings
may be flooded.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- A late season plume of deep tropical moisture is transported
northward ahead of an upper-level disturbance, bringing several
rounds of thunderstorms with high rainfall rates to the region
through this evening. Repeated showers and possible thunderstorms
will result in scattered to numerous instances of flash flooding
with some considerable cases with the greatest threat over Otero
county.
