Tropical Storm Watch issued September 30 at 9:35PM ChST by NWS Tiyan

* WHAT...For the Tropical Storm Watch and Small Craft Advisory,
southwest winds 30 to 40 kt with gusts up to 55 kt and seas 11
to 16 feet expected.

* WHERE...Tinian and Saipan Coastal Waters.

* WHEN...For the Small Craft Advisory, from 5 PM Thursday to 5 PM
ChST Sunday. For the Tropical Storm Watch beginning Thursday evening.

* IMPACTS...Tropical storm force winds will cause hazardous seas which
could capsize or damage vessels and reduce visibility.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tropical Depression 26W continues to develop
as it moves westward towards Anatahan and Alamagan. TD 26W is
forecasted to become a tropical storm late tonight or early tomorrow
morning. Tropical storm force winds are expected to expand southward
over Saipan and Tinian Thursday evening. Seas will become hazardous
to small craft by Thursday afternoon and could become hazardous by
Thursday night.
