* WHERE...South Central Garfield County in southern Utah...
Eastern Kane County in southern Utah...

* WHEN...Until 800 AM MDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, slot canyons,
normally dry washes and other low-lying and flood-prone locations
is imminent or occurring. Waterways continue to rise due to excess
runoff from earlier rainfall.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1100 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly
in the warned area.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Escalante, Boulder, the Escalante River drainage from the
headwaters to Powell, Last Chance, Croton Creek, Dry Rock Creek,
Coyote Gulch and all slot canyons in the Escalante Drainage and
near Hole-in-the-Rock Road.
