* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. This approaches the flood of
record.

* WHERE...La Plata River below Redmesa.

* WHEN...From this evening to late Monday night.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 11:30 AM MST Sunday the stage was 5.5 feet.
- Bankfull stage is 8.0 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage late
this evening to a crest of 10.5 feet late tonight. It will then
fall below flood stage tomorrow afternoon.
- Flood stage is 9.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 10.8
feet on 08/26/1934.
