* WHERE...Neches River at Neches River Saltwater Barrier.

* WHEN...Until Thursday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 6.0 feet, Colliers Ferry Park is under water, and
flooding of secondary roads near the river can be expected.

- At 9:15 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 4.5 feet.
- Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
at 9:15 AM CDT Saturday was 4.5 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 5.7 feet
Monday morning. It will then fall below flood stage Wednesday
afternoon.
- Flood stage is 4.0 feet.
- Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 5.8
feet on 02/14/2005.
