Waters from Chokoloskee to Bonita Beach FL from 20 to 60 NM... * Until 1045 AM EDT. * At 943 AM EDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts were located along a line extending from near Chokoloskee to 8 nm northwest of T Tower, moving northwest at 30 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to 40 knots. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include... Chokoloskee, Big Lostmans Bay, Chevelier Bay, Cape Romano Aquatic Preserve, R Tower, Cape Romano, Naples, Vanderbilt Beach, D Tower, Highland Point, Bonita Shores, and Marco Island.
