The National Weather Service in Honolulu has extended the

* Flash Flood Warning for...
The island of Kauai in Kauai County

* Until 1130 AM HST.

* At 814 AM HST, Local Law enforcement reports that the Hanalei
Bridge is still closed due to Hanalei River flood water inundation.
Additional rainfall of 1 to 2 inches are expected through late this
morning. As a result, the flash flood warning has been extended.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by locally moderate to heavy rain.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Kapaa, Princeville, Kilauea, Hanalei, North Fork Wailua Trails,
Wainiha, Alakai Swamp Trails, Haena, Wailua Homesteads, Na Pali
State Park, Moloaa and Kokee State Park.
