The environment will remain conducive for additional showers and thunderstorms through early this evening, mainly across La Paz, northern Yuma and western Maricopa Counties. Training of storms could lead to an additional 1 to 2 inches of rainfall causing rapid run-off and flooding of low-water crossings and low-lying areas. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of south central Arizona, including the following areas, Aguila Valley, Sonoran Desert Natl Monument and Tonopah Desert. * WHEN...Until 8 PM MST this evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Another round of showers and thunderstorms is likely during the afternoon and evening hours.
