Western Choctawhatchee Bay... * Until 515 AM CDT. * At 341 AM CDT, strong thunderstorms capable of producing waterspouts were located along a line extending from near Navarre Beach to 6 nm south of Oriskany Reef, moving northeast at 15 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include... Mary Esther, Fort Walton Beach, Shalimar, Destin, East Bay, Okaloosa Pier, West Choctawhatchee Bay, Navarre Beach, East Santa Rosa Sound, and Okaloosa Deep Water Reef.
