At 625 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles north of
Jedburg, moving south at 10 mph. At 604 PM, a National Weather
Service employee observed quarter-sized hail near Summerville, SC.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...National Weather Service employee reported.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
North Charleston, Summerville, Goose Creek, Hanahan, Saint George,
Givhans Ferry State Park, Ladson, Dorchester, Ridgeville and
Harleyville.

This includes the following highways...
I-26 between mile markers 171 and 210. I-95 in South Carolina between
mile markers 73 and 85.
