The environment will remain conducive for periods of showers and thunderstorms through much of Monday, some of which will be capable of producing moderate to heavy rainfall. Training of storms could lead to an additional 1 to 2 inches of rainfall causing rapid run-off and flooding of low-water crossings and low-lying areas. * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE...A portion of south central Arizona, including the following areas, Aguila Valley, Buckeye/Avondale, Northwest Valley, Sonoran Desert Natl Monument, Tonopah Desert and West Pinal County. * WHEN...Through this evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Another round or two of showers and thunderstorms will be possible today.
