The National Weather Service in Salt Lake City has issued a

* Flash Flood Warning for...
East Central Washington County in southwestern Utah...

* Until 400 PM MDT.

* At 104 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing
heavy rain across Zion Canyon within Zion National Park. Up to 0.25
inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.25 to
0.5 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is
ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of slot canyons and
normally dry washes.
