Northern Rowan County in the Piedmont of North Carolina... * Until 245 PM EDT. * At 152 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 8 miles southeast of Yadkinville to 11 miles northwest of Mocksville to 7 miles west of Statesville, moving southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected.
