FFWPUB The National Weather Service in Pueblo has issued a * Flash Flood Warning for... The Southern Aspen Acres Burn Scar in... Southwestern Pueblo County in southeastern Colorado... * Until 845 PM MDT. * At 546 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain over the Southern Aspen Acres Burn Scar. Up to 1 inch of rain has fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 0.5 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring. Excessive rainfall over the burn scar will result in debris flow moving through the Middle St. Charles, Muddy Creek and Upper Greenhorn Creek. The debris flow can consist of rock, mud, vegetation and other loose materials. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing flash flooding in and around the Southern Aspen Acres Burn Scar. SOURCE...Radar indicated.
