At 1242 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain across the warned
area. Between 5 and 12 inches of rain have fallen. Additional
rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash
flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing flash
flooding.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban
areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

Rain is in the process of tapering off. However, small streams,
creeks and rivers will rise quickly early this morning as runoff
makes its way downhill and downstream.
