River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast precipitation for the next 24 hours. * WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE...Mississippi River at Clarksville. * WHEN...From Wednesday afternoon until further notice. * IMPACTS...At 29.0 feet, Water enters the parking lot entrance at the Clarksville Riverfront Park. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 11:30 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 17.8 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage early Wednesday afternoon and continue rising to a crest of 28.2 feet Friday morning. - Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
