* Flash Flood Warning for...
Central Otero County in south central New Mexico...

* Until 730 AM MDT.

* At 130 AM MDT, Moderate to heavy rainfall falling over highly
saturated ground in the eastern Sacramento Mountains will lead to
considerable flooding in area streams overnight. Impacts will be
worse the further downstream, or east you go, as runoff builds up.

HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing
flash flooding.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams,
roads, and low water crossings. Washouts and stream bank
erosion are likely.

Sacramento, Mayhill, Weed, Sixteen Springs, James Canyon, Cox
Canyon and Hay Canyon.
