Tangier Sound and the inland waters surrounding Bloodsworth Island... * Until 315 PM EDT. * At 217 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Choptank River to 6 nm northwest of Flag Harbor to 8 nm south of Fort Washington, moving south at 35 knots. HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE...Buoy. IMPACT...Boaters in small craft could be thrown overboard by suddenly higher winds and waves capsizing their vessel. * Locations impacted include... Hooper Island Light, Deep Hole, Solomons Island, Nanticoke River Mouth, Cuckold Creek, Tangier Sound, Town Creek, Drum Point, Honga River, Fishing Bay, Point No Point, The Targets, Richland Point Buoy, and Deal Island.
