Waters from Savannah GA to Altamaha Sound GA out 60 NM... * Until 1115 AM EDT. * At 909 AM EDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing waterspouts was located 5 NM east of Buoy L, moving northeast at 15 knots. HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to 34 knots. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous seas. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include... Hilton Head Reef, Betsy Ross Reef, Buoy L, Dredge Henry, Latex Barge, Sayler Barge, Tug Delta Diamond, Tug Senasqua, Beaufort 45 Feet Reef, Tug Matt Turecamo, General Gordon, C C A Buoy, 110 Degree Olympic Buoy and Hunting Island Reef.
