At 951 PM CDT, local law enforcement reported flooding in Raytown,
with several side roads flooded. Though the heavy rainfall has ended,
additional storms are possible later tonight, which may exacerbate
flooding. Flash flooding is already occurring.

HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by heavy rain.

SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas,
highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor
drainage and low-lying areas.

Kansas City, Overland Park, Independence, Lee's Summit, Leawood,
Raytown, Grandview, Belton, Prairie Village, Fairway, Mission
