FFWABQ The National Weather Service in Albuquerque has extended the * Flash Flood Warning for... Southeastern Socorro County in central New Mexico... * Until 1145 PM MDT. * At 924 PM MDT, trained weather spotters reported flooded roads on White Sands Missile Range in southeast Socorro County. Up to 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.25 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Trained spotters reported. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Socorro, San Antonio, Bosque Del Apache Refuge, Bingham, Escondida, Lemitar, Laborcita and Luis Lopez. This includes the following highways... Highway 380 between Mile Markers 1 and 35.
