Eastern Kane County in southern Utah... * WHEN...Until 800 AM MDT. * IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, slot canyons, normally dry washes and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Waterways continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 553 AM MDT, gauge reports indicated flooding continues due to earlier thunderstorms. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Escalante, Boulder, the Escalante River drainage from the headwaters to Powell, Last Chance, Croton Creek, Dry Rock Creek, Coyote Gulch and all slot canyons in the Escalante Drainage and near Hole-in-the-Rock Road. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
