* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE...Portions of Iowa, including the following counties, Fremont, Harrison, Mills, Monona, Montgomery, Page, Pottawattamie and Shelby and Nebraska, including the following counties, Boone, Burt, Butler, Cass, Colfax, Cuming, Dodge, Douglas, Gage, Jefferson, Johnson, Lancaster, Madison, Nemaha, Otoe, Pawnee, Platte, Richardson, Saline, Sarpy, Saunders, Seward, Stanton, Thurston, Washington and Wayne. * WHEN...From Tuesday evening through Thursday evening. * IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Prolonged rain falling on saturated soil could lead to flooding in the coming days.
