Vigilancia de inundación

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be
possible.

* WHERE...Portions of southeast New Mexico, including the following
areas, Central Lea, Eddy County Plains, Guadalupe Mountains of Eddy
County, Northern Lea and Southern Lea and Texas, including the
following areas, Andrews, Crane, Davis Mountains, Davis Mountains
Foothills, Dawson, Eastern Culberson, Ector, Gaines, Guadalupe
Mountains Above 7000 Feet, Guadalupe and Delaware Mountains,
Loving, Martin, Midland, Pecos, Reeves County Plains, Upton, Van
Horn and Highway 54 Corridor, Ward and Winkler.

* WHEN...Until 6 AM MDT /7 AM CDT/ Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water
crossings may be flooded. Area creeks and streams are running high
and could flood with more heavy rain.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Tropical moisture from the remnants of Hurricane Polo will
overspread the region, which will promote heavy rain across
southeast New Mexico and far west Texas. Soils in portions of the
region remain saturated following heavy rains from last week,
which will further promote the risk for flash flooding.
