Vigilancia de inundación

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible across
much of central and southern Utah between Monday morning and early
Tuesday morning.

* WHERE...A portion of Utah, including the following areas, Castle
Country, Central Mountains, San Rafael Swell, Bryce Canyon Country,
Capitol Reef National Park and Vicinity, Glen Canyon Recreation
Area/Lake Powell, South Central Utah, Southern Mountains, Upper
Sevier River Valleys, Western Canyonlands, Lower Washington County
and Zion National Park.

* WHEN...From Monday morning through early Tuesday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, dry washes, slot canyons, and other low-lying and
flood-prone locations such as slickrock areas and recent burn scars
including Cottonwood, Widemouth 2, France Canyon, Monroe Canyon,
Forsyth, and Silver King.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Deep moisture originating from tropical systems in the Eastern
Pacific draws into portions of central and southern Utah on
Monday. Concurrently, an upper-level system traversing the Desert
Southwest will result in ample instability that will produce
widespread heavy rainfall across the area. Isolated heavier
storms will be capable of producing rainfall rates in excess of 1
inch per hour at times.
