Eastern Transylvania County in western North Carolina... * Until 515 AM EDT. * At 1116 PM EDT, Earlier today, a prolonged period of steady rainfall produced 3-6 inches across eastern Transylvania, Henderson, and Polk counties, saturating area soils and causing scattered areas of nuisance flooding.
